Radio Ambulante es un podcast narrativo que comenzó en el 2011 y que, a partir del 2016, es distribuido por NPR, la radio pública nacional de Estados Unidos. Radio Ambulante cuenta crónicas latinoamericanas en audio, celebrando la diversidad y complejidad de la región. Presentado por el escritor peruano Daniel Alarcón, el programa busca llevar la estética de la buena crónica de prensa escrita a la radio. Radio Ambulante ganó el premio Gabriel García Márquez (2014) en la categoría de Innovación y el premio Third Coast/Richard H. Driehaus Best Foreign Language Documentary Award (2017).

Radio Ambulante is a narrative podcast that began in 2011 and that, as of 2016, has been distributed by National Public Radio (NPR) in the United States. Radio Ambulante tells uniquely Latin American audio stories in Spanish, celebrating the region’s diversity and complexity. Presented by Peruvian author Daniel Alarcón, the podcast aims to bring the quality of longform print journalism to radio. Radio Ambulante won the Gabriel García Márquez Award for Innovation in Journalism (2014) and the Third Coast/Richard H. Driehaus Best Foreign Language Documentary Award (2017).
